DAY 1: HANOI → MAI CHAU
Ride from the city to peaceful mountain valleys
Leaving the busy streets of Hanoi behind, we start the adventure by heading southwest into the countryside. The traffic slowly fades away as the road opens into quiet backroads, rolling hills, and lush green rice fields.
The ride today is a perfect introduction to Northern Vietnam motorbiking—smooth mountain roads, limestone karst scenery, and authentic rural life. We pass through small villages where daily life unfolds naturally: farmers working in the fields, water buffalo resting by the roadside, and children waving as we ride by.
As we approach Mai Chau Valley, the landscape opens into a wide basin surrounded by mountains. This peaceful valley is home to the Thai ethnic minority, known for their traditional stilt houses and warm hospitality.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Mai Chau and settle in, taking time to relax, walk around the village, or enjoy the fresh mountain air. The day ends with a calm evening in the valley, surrounded by nature and silence—a perfect contrast to Hanoi.

DAY 2: MAI CHAU → PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE
One of the most beautiful riding days in Northern Vietnam
Today is a true highlight of the tour. After breakfast, we ride deeper into the mountains toward Pu Luong Nature Reserve, one of Northern Vietnam’s most beautiful and least-visited areas.
The route takes us through remote villages, winding jungle roads, and light off-road sections that add just the right amount of adventure. The scenery constantly changes—terraced rice fields cascading down hillsides, rivers flowing through narrow valleys, and dense forests covering the mountains.
Pu Luong feels untouched and timeless. There are no crowds here—just nature, traditional villages, and breathtaking views at every turn. We slow the pace to fully enjoy the landscape, stopping for photos and short walks through local villages where life remains simple and deeply connected to the land.
By late afternoon, we arrive in a traditional village inside Pu Luong. The evening is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a rewarding day of riding.

DAY 3: PU LUONG → HANOI
Misty mountains and countryside roads back to the capital
The morning begins with a scenic ride through misty mountains and rural farmland, when the light is soft and the air is cool. We continue along quiet backroads, passing small villages and open fields that showcase everyday life in rural Vietnam.
The ride includes a few final mountain passes before gradually descending back toward Hanoi. It’s a reflective day—relaxed riding, beautiful scenery, and time to enjoy the journey rather than rush the destination.
We arrive back in Hanoi in the late afternoon, bringing the tour to a close with unforgettable memories of mountain roads, peaceful valleys, and authentic village life.
